I got my "Dreams of the First Age," yesterday!!! <3 I knew it was going to arrive when I got up yesterday so every noise that sounded remotely like a knock ended with me running through the house like a kid running to see a Santa that wasn't there yet. But I got it and read a whole lot of the book that tells about the first age, making me practically scream like a schoolgirl. I have yet to start on the charms, artifacts, etc. Working on my sketch for the week. It's neater than I had planned originally, but harder for me to do. (Partially because I believe that as a sketch you're not supposed to utilize rulers or shading- and I can barely draw a straight line with a ruler to save my life let alone without one)...
Also, on Monday I'm running my next Mage game... (Old World of Darkness). [We have never started up NWoD, because upon reading the books we thought the system sucked]. I don't have anything planned! I really need my players to be more powerful, and I just found something in the core book that'll help [they have mentors and I thought you could only roll for them teaching once a month, or at most once every two weeks], well in the book it says you can roll for each week of study, which is good. I've run five games so far (and my boyfriend ran a game), and I need them to be much more powerful- so I'm having to wait for the later games which they currently wouldn't survive through. And I have to admit I've been tempted to throw them into the First Age of Exalted since I got the book.... But I won't... I'll be a good little sort-of-conforming GM!
